Terms and Conditions

Computer Based Training Declaration

I confirm that I will complete the computer based dangerous goods by air training course independently and will not be assisted in any way unless I require specific support. (Please contact info@dgonline.training).

Taking the examination

The examination is not a test of memory. The purpose of the training is to teach the candidate how to find and use the information in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. The examination is considered ‘open book’ and therefore the candidates should have unrestricted access to the required document. I will acknowledge the examination booking confirmation I receive via email.

After the examination

If the IATA DGR book has been rented, it needs to be returned to the invigilator at the end of the examination. Refunds will only be returned once the book is checked for spoilage and damage.

Eligibility period for revalidation

Recurrent training must be provided within 24 months of previous training to ensure knowledge is current. However, if recurrent training is completed within the final 3 months of validity of previous training, the period of validity extends from the month on which the recurrent training was completed 24 months from the expiry month of that previous training. For example, a person attends an initial course finishing on 14 April 2019; their training validity therefore expires 30 April 2021. They may attend recurrent training any time between 1 February and 30 April 2021 and their next recurrent training date will remain 30 April 2023. If, however they complete recurrent training in January 2021, then as this is more than 3 months prior to the end of April then their training expiry date becomes 31 January 2023.

Fees

The fee must be paid in full prior to the start of the online training. Where credit terms are agreed in advance, the full payment must be paid in advance of any training certificate being issued.

Where the training course requires an invigilated examination, the prices displayed on the website includes the cost of UK domestic courier services. For examinations outside the UK, any additional courier fees for the shipping and return of the examination must be paid prior to the issue of the training certificate.

The IATA DGR can be purchased or loaned to a candidate.

A weekly rental fee of £10 will be charged. We will take a deposit of the full retail value, which is required in advance of shippingHowever, if renting the book, it must be returned to the invigilator at the end of the examination. Books will be checked for spoilage or damage before a refund is given. Books previously loaned can be purchased at any time during the course at cost price, minus any rental fee already paid.

Timescale

Access to the online training course will be granted for 12 weeks from the initial login only. Course access will be automatically disabled after this period. If students have not completed the training within this timeframe, a new training licence will need to be purchased.

Examinations cannot be booked until the online course has been successfully completed. Candidates can amend their examination booking date and location via telephone only, but changes cannot be made within 5 working days or less prior to the examination date.

If a candidate fails the examination, fails to attend a booked examination or makes changes to the date or location of the examination within 5 working days or less prior to the booked examination date, a rebooking fee of £75.00 + VAT will be charged.
